ABOUT US
The Brighton Baseball Club was first established in 1962 as the Brighton Jets.  Over the years it has played successfully under a number of banners including the Brighton Buccaneers and Hove Tuesday.  Nowadays, we play with three different teams:
Brighton Jets - our Division 5 (formerly single A) team.
Brighton Aces - our Division 4 (formerly double A) team
Brighton Brewers - our Division 2 (formerly triple A) team
We also have a youth programme (the Fireballs) to support and develop boys and girls aged 4-14. Our youth teams have had considerable success, including multiple national trophy wins. Many of our young players have represented their country, playing for GB Baseball in international tournaments.
THE BRIGHTON BASEBALL ETHOS
Our ultimate vision is to make Baseball accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Whether you’re a 6-year-old encountering this sport for the very first time, an athletic teenager or adult who enjoys playing regular competitive games against other clubs, an ambitious player looking to represent his country in international baseball competitions, or even a baseball enthusiast aged 50+ who just wants to keep playing ball.
We do this by not only developing specific baseball skills, hitting, throwing and catching, but by encouraging sportsmanship, community and responsibility. For us, the athleticism gained by playing baseball is just one side of it: if you talk to anyone at the club, they’ll tell you that the reason they stick around is for the support we give to one another. Whether in practice, during games, or at a national tournament, we set a high standard for our players, and encourage them to serve as role models in terms of their personal integrity, respect and care for others.
